Location

The location we chose to do our 2 minute opening scene was in a house, the house was a good spot to do the shooting because it was quiet and it was the best place which reflected our character's surroundings.
Our character is a quiet but psychologically disturbed young girl and this house reflects her personality as it's in a secluded location where there are no other houses. This mirrors her personality as she secludes herself from society.
The setting of the room was what we wanted in our 2 minute sequence and this worked well because it meant that we did not have to do a lot to improve the setting.

We also has two more  locations, which was the house where the male actor lives.  We used his room to shoot the scenes.
Our second location was in the school we used the drama room to shoot the scene with the black clothed character. we used that room because it was dark and it emphasized the dark character's persona.

This is a long angle shot of the protagonist's house hold.

This is a shot of kausers bedroom, in the first two minutes you will See this shot in the film, throughout the film you will notice it's mainly set in Kauser's room, The reason why we chose to shoot only in Kausers room, was because usually when a girl/boy is upset or is in a state where they need to deeply think, they mainly go to their as their own space and they have the freedom to do what they want in their room.

This Is a shot of Anas's room. The main reason why we chose  to shoot in this room to show that both the female and male character have similar surroundings and they are both going through the same problem.

Both Rooms

Both Anas's and Kauser's room are similar. The reason why we did similar rooms is to show that both the characters are similar through their personalities and through their rooms. Anas's room is dark and empty, the curtains are dark brown and the colour of the walls are black. This shows he is not a colour full person the blackness around him could also connote that the colours are expressing his personality and his mood. We know this because most of the time when people move into a new room they colour the walls and decorate their room in a way which expresses their personality and this room expresses Anas's personality. Kauser's room has also Dark wall paper and Grey curtains these dark colours can also connote her personality and mood, one thing Kauser has in her room is that a TV this could connote that she is more observant of the world around her and knows what is going on, while i Anas's room we can see that there's nothing else but a bed.
