Lostsouls - experimenting with the shots.
This was a experiment of our 2 minute sequence, we did this in order to understand how the shots and the scenes were going to come together. it was also done in order for us to see how the editing was going to be.
feedback - The editing was difficult as we did not do the shots that would have been appropriate for our sequence. What was needed were different angles shots which would improve the 2 minute sequence as capturing the image from different angles means different representations of the character which would make the 2 minute sequence better than it is. Instead we did long consistent shots which did not change angles, this meant that the 2 minute sequence looked unsuitable and unprofessional.
The sound was also not inserted into the sequence, the sound was non-digetic. Adding the sound would have meant that the sequence would have been more professional and the audience would have reacted with it very well. The sound would have added suspense and tension and made it more emotional.
What went well in the shooting was the actress acted the character very well and she made it the character very realistic, she took the character and made it her own. Having a good actress will make the whole sequence a lot better.
The were a few hazards in the room, the room was quite small which meant that there was not a lot of space to move around and do the shooting, there were quite a lot of objects on the floor, although this was for the scene it was dangerous because the camera controller could have tripped over and broke the camera or hurt themselves. The outside scene meant that we had to make sure that it was not raining so the camera does not get damaged as we were outside for a long time.
